ABOUT THIS COURSE
Managing Successful Programmes™ is unique in its status as a generic best practice framework; generic yet flexible in application. The Registered MSP Practitioner qualification is now established as the premier programme management qualification in many parts of the world. This course is based upon the third edition of Managing Successful Programmes that pearcemayfield helped to author. The course will provide you with a full and complete understanding of the MSP programme management framework that can be applied to business scenarios in preparation for work on your own programme. By the end of this course you’ll be able to take the MSP Foundation and Practitioner examinations. Following the standard syllabus issued by the MSP Examinations Board, it focuses on the MSP framework and how this might be applied pragmatically to a variety of real programmes. This is a five day course and can be delivered on client premises on a module basis. Public course dates COURSE OUTLINE
The course will cover each part of the MSP Transformational Flow, Governance Themes and documents described in the MSP Guide. You’ll work through various case studies during the course. You’ll also work with sample examination papers; examination tips and preparation, for the MSP Foundation and Practitioner examinations. You’ll receive: • Pre-course materials • The Managing Successful Programmes book (MSP Guide) • The acclaimed pearcemayfield course book, including sample documents, full colour reference diagrams and sample exam answers. THE EXAMFoundation - the first qualification consists of 50 multiple choice questions to be answered in 40 minutes. This is a closed book examination. Practitioner - this exam has changed to an objective marking style, closed book paper to be answered in 2hrs 30 minutes (including reading time). The paper will consist of 9 questions with a total of 180 marks available to be completed within two hours. Candidates need to achieve a mark of 90+ to pass this paper. ON-SITE REQUIREMENT?
