Windsor commonly known as a Windsor Castle is famous for official residence of the British Royal Family.  Windsor Castle is the world’s oldest and biggest castle and official residence of royal family. It is surrounded by the splendid and amusing countryside of Berkshire. Earlier it was unparished area and historic market town of the England. It is located on the south bank of Thames River which also forms its boundary with ancient town Eton. The city came into existence when high-status people started to visit the place and used this palace for Royal purpose. Windsor Bridge was built between the towns of Reading and Staines. It contributed towards the development of the national road system and economy of the city. Apart from this, the city was ranked 19^th as the most expensive city in the world for a living.

The city follows Three-tier education system, where students are taught in three different school types (Primary, Middle and High) by the Royal Borough of Windsor. Windsor Castle is the most popular tourist destination place as it is the biggest inhabited castle and longest occupied palace in Europe. Windsor Great Park provides vibrant and outstanding sensations of landscape and also known for its location for football in the UK. Another worthwhile place to visit is the largest park in the world which is Legoland Windsor Park. Royal Ascot is one of the biggest sporting calendars of the world and organises several race events and festivals throughout the year. Other places to explore in the city are The Savill Garden, Royal Borough Museum, Dorney Court and Frogmore House and Windsor Guildhall.
